Obituary for Clarence L. Morris
Mr. Clarence L. Morris, 58, of El Dorado, Ar departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1957 to Topsie Morris and the late James Morris in El Dorado, AR.
Clarence was preceded in death by his father, James Morris and his brother, Elisha Morris.
Bro. Morris obeyed the gospel at the Plum Stret Church of Christ in El Dorado in February 2005. He was a graduate of El Dorado High School in 1975. He was a fun loving person with a heart of gold. He was good at making people laugh with his jokes. He loved fishing.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife, Barbara Morris; two daughters, Serena (Keithan) King and Makaria Robinson, both of El Dorado, AR; two sons, Travis Johnson and Darius Morris, both of El Dorado, AR and seven grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mother, Topsie Morris Thomas; five brothers Willie (Bobbie) Morris, James Morris, Edward Jones, and Carl (Cynthia) Morris, all of El Dorado, Ar and Paul (Valerie) Thomas of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Joyce (James) Gill of Portland, Oregon and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Plum Street Church of Christ, 529 Plum Street, El Dorado, AR. Interment Rebotha Cemetery in Norphlet, AR.
