Obituary for Odessa L. Carter
Odessa L. Carter 83 of Conway departed this life June 17, 2008. She was born to the late Dallas Dickerson and Ada Mitchell Dickerson in the Saltillo Community. She was a longtime faithful member of the Zion Temple Church of God In Christ Church where she was a member of the Mother's Board, and President of the Home & Foreign Mission Dept. Survivors : 4 Sons - Ronald Carter, Jerry Carter and Emanuel Carter all of Conway; Donald Carter, San Antonio, TX. 3 Daughters - Wanda Simpson and Patsy Flemister of Little Rock; Gloria Harris of Conway; One Brother - Elmer Dickerson, Galesburg, IL; One Sister - Ollie Harrison of Rock Island, IL; 32 Grandchildren and a host of Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C., Interment Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7pm Friday at the church. Arrangements Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
