Obituary for Alice Robinson
Alice Griffin Robinson, 79, of Plumerville, departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. She was born June 21, 1931 in Morrilton, AR to the late Charlie and Pearlie Griffin. She was a retired employee of Levi Strauss Company.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Robinson; four brothers, Cleava T, James, WM Griffin, and Sammie C. Dixon and one sister, Wilean Owens. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Holloway of Morrilton, AR; Wanda Hensley, of Plumerville, AR, and Mary Denise Robinson of Conway; ten sisters, Charlene Johnson of Jonesboro; Barbara Griffin, Derbra Rogers, Janet Griffin, all of Newport, AR. Shirley Christian of Chicago, IL. Glenda Johnson of Jacksonville, FL. Helen Hervey of Morrilton. Cleodia Tolliver of Lake Village, AR. Margette Kelleybrew and Gretha Gray of Los Angeles, CA.; one brother, James E. Dixon; one aunt, Betty Peague of Searcy, AR; stepmother, Dolly Griffin of Newport, AR; three grandchildren, Amanda Robinson of Conway, AR. Lee Ann Deadmon of Little Rock, AR. and Brice Robinson of Conway, AR., four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Plumerville, AR. Interment Owens Cemetery in Plumerville.
