Mrs. Hattie Marie McCuien, 71, of Mayflower, AR departed this life June 4, 2011. Born February 10, 1940 in Mayflower, ARÂ to Willie Mae Cook and the late Cleveland Cook. She was a seamstress and beautician. She was a member of Palarm Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Edward Boyd and Willie Edward McCuien; father, Cleveland Cook; one daughter, Michelle Pace; one son, Curtis C . Boyd; one brother, Cleveland Cook, Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Willie Mae Cook; four daughters, Elizabeth (Manuel) McCuien of Mayflower, AR; Ann King of Mayflower, AR; Jacquelyn Henry-Rich of Conway, AR; and Matisha McCuien of Little Rock, AR. Four brothers, Robert Cook of Mayflower, AR; Allen (Elois) Cook of Marche, AR; Lemuel (Felicia)Â Cook of Conway, AR; and Leroyce (Pamela)Â Cook of St. Louis, MO. One sister, Mae Helen (Earl) Hammonds of Little Rock, AR. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 1-6 p.m. Friday at funeral home.
