Obituary for Tamara Krashon Nabors
Tamara Spears Nabors, 27, of Little Rock departed this life Tuesday August 30, 2011. Born December 27, 1983, Tamara was the youngest of three children born to Dorothy Rainey Spears and Joseph Spears, Jr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Alonzo Spears, grandparents Joseph Spears, Sr., Jennie B. Spears, and Lonnie Elizabeth Rainey.
Tamara accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She became a member of the Menifee Church of Christ and later joined the Airport Church of Christ in Little Rock, AR. Tamara graduated from Morrilton High School in May 2002 and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in December 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Tamara knew as a child that her calling in life was to become a teacher, and in 2007, she was employed by James Matthews Elementary School in Pine Bluff, Ar. In 2008, she was employed by Chicot Elementary School in Little Rock, AR, where she served diligently as a preschool teacher until June 2011.
Tamara married Julius W. Nabors on June 15, 2008 and on October 21, 2008, the couple welcomed to their union a beautiful baby girl, Nayla Denice Nabors. Tamara leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Julius Nabors and daughter, Nayla Nabors, both of Little Rock, AR; her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Spears, Jr. of Menifee, AR; her sister, Kimberly (Terry) Lawson, nephew, Kyron Lawson, niece, Kennedi Lawson of Little Rock, AR, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Â
All who knew Tamara knew she loved to sing and her family and friends are comforted by the knowledge that she will sing forevermore with the voice of an angel in the house of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Menifee Church of Christ. Family visitation will be Friday 10 a.m-12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment Menifee Community Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home 910 Walnut Street, Conway.
