William B. Harris (Bill) ,73, of Heber Springs departed this life November 22, 2011 surrounded by his beloved children. Bill was a 1957 graduate of Newport High School, US Naval Veteran, and a graduate of UCA. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Mabel Harris, three brothers, James Harris, Marshall Harris and Charles Harris.
He is survived by two brothers, Frankie Harris (Cathy) and Bobby Harris (Debra).
Two sisters, Margaret Ray (Donald) and SueAnn Allen (Jerry); Eight children, Woodrow Harris (Nancy) of Morrilton, Angie Glass of Fort Smith, James Harris of Hot Springs, Alexa Givins (Jacob) of Walnut Ridge, Kerry Harris of Lubbock, TX, Vanessa Harris, Lily Harris and Trista Harris, all of Jacksonville; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family honored their father’s life with a beautiful memorial service on November 26, 2011 held at the First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs.
