Obituary for Loretta Acklin
Mrs. Loretta Mae Forte Acklin, 59, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She was born in Conway, AR to the late William and Lola Mae (Rogers) Forte, Sr. on October 14, 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Wanda Forte, and husband, Herman Ray Acklin.
She retired from Conway Human Development Center and was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Forte and Alexis Acklin, both of Mayflower, AR; one son, Fred (Bobbie Jo) of North Little Rock, AR; granddaughter, Eyona Geter of Mayflower, AR; two brothers, William (Leora) Forte, Jr. and Dennis (Mavis) Forte, Sr., both of Conway, AR; one sister, Anna Pearl (Taft, Jr.) Ealy of Conway, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 6-7 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the church. Interment Salem Cemetery in Conway, AR.
