Obituary for Elvin Macon
Mr. Elvin Macon, 75 of Twin Groves, Arkansas departed this life Wednesday May 27, 2015. Â He was born on November 9, 1939 in Mayflower, AR to the late Lonell Macon and Gracie Hawkins Macon.Â
He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Betty Kemp Macon; one son, Neal Macon; his mother and father; one sister and one brother.
He worked for General Motors in Flint, MI for over 35 years.Â
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Stevie Macon; two granddaughters, Latasha Macon and Aisha Macon; two grandsons, Cameron and Jordan Macon; one great grandchild, Teyana Macon; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Macon; two sisters, Nida Hull of Twin Groves, AR and Norma (Jimmie) Cain, of Greenbrier, AR; nine brothers, Unice (Lois) Macon, Willie Macon, Andrew (Ruby) Macon, Robert Macon, Gus (Ardelmia) Macon, Glen (Monica) Macon, Ronald Macon, all of Conway, AR; Ozell Macon of Mt. Morris, Michigan and Bobby Macon of Flint, Michigan; four sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 273 Solomon Grove Road, Twin Groves, AR. Visitation 6-7 pm, Friday, June 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment Solomon Grove Cemetery.
