Obituary for Shirley Ann Acklin-Hardge
Mrs. Shirley Ann Acklin Hardge, 67, of Fontana, California, departed this life on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born in Mayflower, Ar to the late L.C. and Ethel (Palmer) Acklin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Mae Ella Acklin Beard, Herman Ray Acklin and Willie D. Acklin and niece Kadra Joyce Acklin.
She is survived by her daughter, Ke'Nya Hardge; one sister Madelyn (Oscar) Wilbon; two brothers Larry (Ernestine) Acklin and Bobby (Pamela) Acklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Mount Carmel Holy Assembly Baptist Church, 9401 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90003. Rev. Darryl Beard, Pastor. Visitation will be held 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, CA.
