Mrs. Magdalene E. (Mitchell) Cunningham, 72, of Conway, Ar departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She was born on June 20, 1946 in Atkins, Ar to the late Henry and Sarah (Dunbar) Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by a son James Steven (Tatorbug) Allen and two brothers, William Roger (Bill) Mitchell and Henry Leon (Joe) Mitchell.
She professed a hope in Christ and joined the Norris Chapel Baptist church in Atkins Arkansas.
Magdalene was joined in holy matrimony to Lonnie Cunningham on November 23, 1995.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband Lonnie Cunningham; One daughter Sandra Grubbs of Conway, AR; One sister Saundra Joyce Duggar (Raymond) of Morrilton, AR; Two brothers Larry Mitchell of Marianna, AR and Kerry Mitchell (Sherrie) of Fayetteville, AR; Six Grandchildren Heather Allen-Ortiz, Kendra Grubbs, James Grubbs, Eddie Harris, Kimberly Lynn Turnbough, Ca’Sandra Allen; Five Great-Grandchildren Caleb, Ma’Kayla, Lynnzaylee, Aubriana and Micah; Seven Nieces Tiffany, Natalie, Ashley, Cherie, Crystal, Sadie and Tracie; Three Nephews Dexter, Rondale and Alex; a special friend Gail Lackland and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Allen Chapel AME Church, 112 S. Shore Rd, Atkins, AR. Visitation 1:00 pm-6:00 pm, Monday, June 3, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment Allen Chapel Cemetery.
