Obituary for Cecily LaVaughn Huey
Cecily LaVaughn Huey was born on April 30, 1990, in Nassau Bay, TX, and died on June 26, 2018, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Chad Huey.
Cecily was a beautiful, smart, young lady and a true free spirit. She loved nature, so she enjoyed being outdoors, especially with her dog Trixie (who went everywhere with her) and at music festivals with her friends. Her interests included music, dancing, hula hooping, talking about cars with her dad and brothers, talking about life and gossip with her mom and sisters, and taking photographs with her best friend Andrew Dolan. Cecily also loved spending time with her family and friends, whether they were doing activities together or staying up late into the night talking about anything and everything. She was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for her family and her friends. Cecily was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Cecily is survived by her mother, Barbara Coleman (AR); her father and stepmother Billy and Vickie Huey (TX); her brother Brett Huey (TX); her sister Brooke Huey (LA); her daughter Sylvia Bishop (MA); her stepsisters Tracey Huey (CO) and Ann Lowe (LA); her niece Erin Lowe (LA), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 910 Walnut Street, Conway, AR. Visitation one hour prior to service.
