Obituary for Marion W. Gault
Mrs. Marion Wright Gault was born November 5, 1949 to the late Pearl Jones and J.D. Wright in Conway, AR. She united with the Union Baptist Church at an early age. She later joined Friendship Baptist Church and worked faithfully until her health failed.
Marion started her service to her community working at Safe-Way, continuing on to Harvest Foods and ending with Lowe’s where she later retired from. She was also a faithfully devoted member of the Cheerful Givers.
She departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Marion is preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Jones of Conway, AR; father, J.D. Wright of Hayti, MO; husband Aaron Gault; and brothers, Roy Nathan Wright, Sr. and Bobby Gene Waters. Marion leaves memories to be cherished by her son, Alonzo Gault of Birmingham, AL, daughter, Nacole Jones, of Largo, FL; granddaughter, Bianca Marshall of Conway, AR; one brother, Louis Ambers of Conway, AR; four sisters, Deloris Matthews (Calvin) of Little Rock, AR; Maggie Burton (Sabe) of Little Rock, AR; Dianell McCray-Maltbia (Wilbur); Rosemary Garth Cummings (John) of Conway, AR; great nephew Ejai Robinson; life
sister, Kathy Goolsby (Cary) of Conway, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and great friends.
Marion was a beacon of light to so many and touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 146 Taylor Circle, Conway, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, December 29, 2023 at the funeral home chapel. Interment Friendship Cemetery in Conway, AR.
