Mrs. Marilyn B. Ford was born April 5, 1957 and departed this life on Friday, December 15, 2017.
Marilyn was a graduate of North Ridge University where she earned a Bachelor of Education.
Marilyn was saved and baptized in 1969 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Kinchen. She was a member of New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ where she once served as a Sunday School teacher. She wrote that the thing that was most important to her and her #1 activity was witnessing about the goodness of Jesus Christ, whenever the opportunity arises.
Marilyn was employed by Walmart, Incorporated for 19 years.
Marilyn’s community and civic affiliations include a FOP supporter, ADA, ACS, ISOP, Hospice International, United Way, Mays Mission for Handicapped, PVA, ARC, MDA, and Association of Paramedics & Firefighters.
She is survived by her mother Daisy Ford of Little Rock, Arkansas; father Arthur Boatner of California, four sisters, Connie (Anthony) Davison of Little Rock, Arkansas, Doris Boatner of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sharon Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kathy (Jim) Mosley of St. Louis, Missouri; four brothers, John (Laverne) Ford, Joseph (Sharon) Ford and Jerry (Red) Ford, all of Little Rock, Ar and Barry (Rosalyn) Ford of St. Louis, Missouri. Marilyn was also loved by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, coworkers and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ, 1120 Bishop Lindsey Avenue, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation 6:00 pm -7:30 pm, Friday, December 22, 2017 at the church. Interment Rest in Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, AR.
