Mr. Jimmy Bryant, 81, of Conway, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born December 2, 1940 in North Little Rock (Marche community) to the late Frank and Muriel Alexander Bryant.
He is survived by his beautiful wife of 59 years Mildred D. Cowan Bryant; daughter Associate Pastor Alice F B Guthrie of Dallas, TX; son Jimmy Gerald Bryant of Conway, AR; grandchildren Jessica LaCarol (Marcus) Ballentine of Apex, NC; Dominque Bryant of Louisville, KY; Alicia Ann Bryant of Aurora, IL; Justin G. Bryant Ballentine; great grandsons James IV and Camron Bryant; bonus grandsons Michael Campbell and Lawrence Campbell; Seven brothers Floyd (Joyce) Bryant and Rev. Frank (Irene) Bryant, Jr., both of Los Angeles, CA; Benjiman (Ioma) Bryant and Eddie Lee (Michelle) Bryant, both of Flint, MI; Ivory (Barbara) Bryant of Marche, AR; Michael (Francis) Bryant of Ogden, KS; Willie (Gina) Bryant of Tacoma, WS; three sisters Frankie Jean Credit of Maumelle, AR; Sophia (Henry) Bonner of Gardena, CA and Shirley Zelaya of Los Angeles, CA; special cousin Rose Bryant Woods of Jacksonville, AR; 'brother from another mother' Dale (Shirley) Garland and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 868 Willow Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, AR.
