Obituary for William Irby
Mr. William “Will” “Sugar” Vaughn Irby, 82, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born on December 26, 1934 to the late Morris and Eugene Irby in Mayflower, AR.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters, and 2 brothers.
Will Irby confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, where he served until his health failed.
He was united in holy matrimony on February 13, 1988 to his love, Jennetta Bynum-Irby.
He enjoyed building all types of things and never cutting his hand with a saw in the process. He also enjoyed playing the guitar in his leisure time.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Jennetta Irby;
stepdaughter, Lashana Bynum Shelton of Conway, AR; two favorite granddaughters, Kayla Shelton and Kamyia Shelton, both of Conway, Ar; three sisters, Loretta Cranberry and Mary Perkins, both of Los Angeles, CA and Gloria Macon of Mayflower, AR; three brothers, Harry Irby of Bakersfield, CA; Walter Irby of Camden, AR and Louis Earl Irby of Little Rock, AR; a special friend, Micheal Credit of Conway, Ar and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation one hour prior to services. Interment Palarm Chapel Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.
