Obituary for Jerry Dwight Stubbs
Mr. Jerry Dwight Stubbs, 65, of Maumelle, Ar departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2016. He was born to the late Mattie Pace Cohens and Charlie Stubbs in Conway, Ar on February 15, 1951.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend John L. Taylor at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Jerry was a very peaceful soul and was loved by all who knew him, near and far. Most importantly, he received his greatest joy when in the presence of his grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marsha; Five sons, Corey (Jessica) Green of Maumelle, AR; Derron Harper, Jacob Baldwin and Jaron Stubbs, all of North Little Rock, AR and Shelton (Amber) Stubbs of Sherwood, AR; Two daughters, Syrita Stubenfield of North Little Rock, Ar and Shannon Stubenfield of Maumelle, AR; Nine brothers, Royce (Penny) Pace of North Little Rock, AR; Kenneth and Tony Stubbs of Little Rock, AR; T.J. Stubbs of Memphis, TN; Anthony Stubbs of St. Louis, MO; Bennie Cohens of Minneapolis, MN; Edwin Cohens of California; Brian Cohens of Pebble Beach, FL and Sheldon Cohens of Sherwood, AR; Five sisters, Kaye Woods, Brandy Jones and Charlene Young of St. Louis, MO; Carla (Myron) Heard of Maumelle, Ar and Candice Cohens of North Little Rock, Ar; Nine grandchildren, Braelon, Rylea, Brenden, Bria, Jacobi, Mark, Aaiden, Marlee, Oliver and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Perkins Cemetery in West Marche, AR.
