Obituary for Eldee Harper
Bro. Eldee Harper, Sr., age 79, departed this life and went to be in the presence of the Lord on Monday, September 5th at 9:12 pm fter a battle with illness. Born March 19, 1937 in England, Arkansas he was the fifth son of the late Albert Harper and Marguerite Hawghrome Harper.
With a loving heart and a constant willingness to help, he was a man who loved his family and loved assisting anyone in need. He had a loving heart and a constant willingness to serve. He had a heart for spreading the Word of God and was ordained into the ministry in 2008. Prior to his illness, he faithfully attended Trinity Temple Fellowship Church in Menifee, Ar under the leadership of Pastor Larry Daniels.
He was a hard worker, working for D.W. McDonald’s construction for 20 plus years and retiring from Democrat Printing and Lithograph after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Bayles Harper in 1992 and grandson, Antoine Harper, earlier this year.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pearlee Berry Harper of Conway, Ar along with 11 sons and daughters; Eldee (Pam) Harper, Jr. of Yuma, Arizona; Lonny Harper of Conway; Sylvia (Lee) Harden of Cincinnati, OH; Jewel (Cassandra) Harper of Mayflower, AR; KaSondra (Syvoil) Jones of Conway, AR; Lloyd Harper of Maumelle, AR; Mary Harper of Conway, AR; Michael Harper of Conway; Icyce Harper of Morrilton, AR; Jeremiah Harper of Conway, AR and Elijah Harper of Maumelle, Ar.; one brother, George Harper of Mayflower, AR.
He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the House of Refuge and Deliverance Church, 748 Hwy 365, Mayflower, AR. Visitation will be 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest following the funeral services at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery in Maumelle, Ar.
