Mrs. Willie Mae Cook, 95, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born to the late James A. Green and Jennie Bell (Strickland) Green on November 2, 1922 in Formosa, Ar.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Y. Cook, children Cleveland Cook, Jr., Lemuel Cook, and Hattie Marie McCuien; brothers Allen Green, Claude Green and William Green and sisters Anna, Bertha, Rosia, Katie and Dona Mae.
She is survived by her three sons, Robert Cook of Mayflower, AR; Allen (Elois) Cook of Marche, AR and LeRoyce (Pamela) Cook of St. Louis, MO; one daughter Mae Helen Hammonds of Mayflower, AR and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.
