Obituary for Willie "Lewis" Cain
Mr. Willie "Lewis" Cain, 65, of Twin Groves, Arkansas departed this life February 6, 2012 in Little Rock, AR. He was born on September 20, 1946 in Damascus, Ar to the late Ben and Earl (Kemp) Cain. He was the youngest of twelve children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Earl Cain; three brothers, Ben, Jr., Edward, and Christopher Cain. Lewis professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Solomon Grove Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member. He served on the Deacon Board, served as a former treasurer of the BTU, and sung with the male chorus. He received his education from the Solomon Grove School System and worked at the University of Central Arkansas. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of forty-five years, Winifred M. (Davis) Cain; three beautiful daughters, Veronica Thomas (Derrick) and LaWanda Trezvant (Billy), both of Conway and Sheena M. Cain-Brown (James) of Twin Groves, AR. Three brothers, Delmo (Velma) and Ozzie (Maggie) Cain, both of Twin Groves, AR and Jimmie (Norma) Cain of Greenbrier, AR. Five sisters, Niner Young of Twin Groves, AR, Birdie Garlington of Morrilton, AR, Earma Woodberry and Jemima Giles, both of Flint, MI and Lois (Unice) Macon of Conway, AR; mother-in-law, Sarah J. Hill of Blevins, AR; three brother-in-laws, James E. Davis (Catherlene) and Wilfred Davis, both of Flint, MI and Donnie Davis (Severa) of Hope, AR. Seven lovely grandchildren, Alexus and Miesha Delph, Kaprice and LaShunte Trezvant, Trevon Delph, Quinton Scott, and Billy Trezvant, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Solomon Grove Baptist Church, 273 Solomon Grove Rd, Twin Groves, AR. Visitation 1-6 pm Friday at the funeral home chapel. Interment Solomon Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
