Obituary for Willie Lee Credit
Mr. Willie Lee “Ned” Credit, 67, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life Thursday, July 11, 2019. He was born to the late Huie and Ionia (Cook) Credit on August 8, 1951 in Mayflower, Ar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brother Troy Lee Credit, J.C. Credit, Morris Credit and A.B. Credit; two sisters Pauline Harper and LouElla Reese.
Willie united with Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He later joined the United State Marine Corp, where he retired as a veteran. He also worked for the City of Little Rock – Parks and Recreation and for G.W. Atkinson as a farmer.
Willie is survived by two sons Steven Demond (LaQuinta) Credit of Little Rock, Ar and Willie Harris (Judy) Credit of Conway, AR; one daughter LaDena Janee Credit of Little Rock, AR; four brothers Lewis (Patricia) Credit of Mayflower, AR; Marvin (Mae) Credit and Michael (Joyce) Credit, both of Conway, AR and Ricky (Joyce) Credit of North Little Rock, AR; two sisters Stella (Bill) Robinson of Kansas City, KS and Beatrice (Theardis) Stubbs of Mayflower, AR; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, Ar. Visitation 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, July 19, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery.
