Obituary for Willie E. Bryant, Sr.
Mr. Willie E. Bryant, Sr., 62, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was born to the late Ed and Pricillia (Agee) Bryant on October 8, 1951 in Conway, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Tianna Bryant.Â
Willie accepted Christ at an early age at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Mayflower, AR under the leadership of Rev. A.L. Perkins. He later rededicated his life under Rev. James E. Mackey. He continued to serve as a faithful member working in the kitchen staff at Palarm Chapel under the leadership of Rev. P.E. Davenport until his health failed.
In his young adult life, Willie served his country in the United States Army as a head cook. He retired from Rock Tenn as a printer after 30 years of service.Â
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, LaShana Bynum Shelton of Conway, AR; his son, Willie Bryant, Jr. of Mayflower, AR; grandchildren, Malik Bryant of Mayflower, AR, Kayla Shelton of Conway, AR; Cassidy Lambert of Conway, AR; Tarah Bryant of Mayflower, AR; Kahlil Bryant of Mayflower, AR and Kamyia Shelton of Conway, Ar.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 S., Mayflower, AR. Â Visitation 6-7 pm Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Â Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.
