Obituary for Willie Cummings
Willie (Toochie) Cummings born March 26, 1921 to Frank and Abrilla Cobin Cummings, departed this life Saturday December 20, 2008 at Conway Regional Medical Center. A member of Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Willie L. Johnson is Pastor.
Willie worked in construction for over 40 years and also on The Green Thumb Program at the Twin Groves Community Center until his health would not allow him to continue.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 70 years Mrs. Equator Cummings of Twin Groves; 3 Sons, Theodore Cummings, Leanard Cummings, and Joe Cummings of Conway; 9 daughters, Choycie (Jessie) Bess, Barbara (Joe) Darnell and Carolyn Wallace all of Kansas City, KS; Princess (Clarence) Ross, Doris (Jackie) Washington, Joyce (Charles) Tillman and Debra Rollins of Conway; Mary (James) Cain and Bonita (Myron) Lindsey of Twin Groves; One sister, Ida Piggee of Conway; Two nieces Merlene Burton, Conway; Maxine Morris of Center Ridge; 44 Grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday at Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Twin Groves. Interment Solomon Grove Cemetery. Visitation Friday 6-7pm at the church. Arrangements Larry G.
