Obituary for William Earl Wright
Mr. William Earl (Wig) Wright, 73, of Morrilton, AR departed this life on Saturday, May 13, 2017. He was born to the late Charles Ector and Daisy Lee Wright on January 4, 1944 in Morrilton, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Emmett, Charles and Bennie; three sisters, Marie, Eulla Mae and Charlene.
He was a graduate of L. W. Sullivan High School, Morrilton, AR. He accepted Christ and united with the St. Matthew #2 Baptist Church.
William worked for the Conway County Road Department 21 years. After retiring, he worked part time at the Morrilton Senior Adult Center.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Tracy of Sacramento CA, and Shantrel Reliford (Andre) of Raymore MO; four sons Tony of Sacramento, CA; Shonelle (Tiffany) of Conway, AR, Zuri and Damian of Morrilton, AR; two sisters, Zella Mae Osler, of Kansas City, MO and Margaret Thrower of Waianae, Hawaii; three brothers, Willie James of Cleveland AR, Leonard of St. Louis, MO and Raymond of Morrilton, AR; Eleven grandchildren; Florence Hervey, a longtime friend of 35 years, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Matthew #2 Missionary Baptist Church, 1600 West Church Street, Morrilton, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, May 19, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment Oddfellow Cemetery in Morrilton, AR.
