Obituary for Walter Edward Moon
Mr. Walter "Wally" Edward Moon, 86, of Bigelow, Ar departed this life on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born to the late George and Vada (Arder) Moon on May 19, 1930 in Gregory, Ar.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Robbie Moon, his parents, George Moon and Vada Arder Moon, his son, John Moon, step-son Glen Moore, and siblings Catherin Corbit, Johnnie Ann Huber, George Moon Jr, Calvin Moon, and Charles Moon.
He enjoyed all things outdoors, including fishing and hunting. Wally was a North Korean War Veteran that served in the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW in Conway, AR. He also had a love for construction and was a talented musician.
Wally is survived in death by his children, Vada (Guy) Moon-Ha, Walter (Becky) Moon Jr, Judy (Saloman) Moreno, Leslie Moon, and Liz (Bryan) Smith, a slew of grandchildren, and his siblings, Francis Moon Jones, Sandra Moon Adams, and Vance (Nina) Moon. Wally also had step-children that he considered his own: Jeanie Moore-Haynie, Wayne (Sue) Moore, Sharon Litteral, and Marcia (Sam) Cooles.
Wally was a loved father, grandfather, husband, and brother that everyone will miss tremendously.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Augusta, Ar.
