Obituary for Virgil Reese Davis
Mr. Virgil Reese Davis, 80, of Hickory Hill, Ar departed this life on August 15, 2018. He was born in Morrilton, Ar to the late Garland and Harriett (Hardin) Davis on August 24, 1937.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Katie Louise (Jackson) Davis.
Mr. Virgil Reese Davis leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Tracey (Jarvis) Ann White of Hattieville, AR and Sharon Davis of Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, Lee Van Davis of Morrilton, AR and Edward Davis of Kansas City, Kansas; two stepdaughters, Chuckola Carolina and Janice Toney, both of Morrilton, AR; one stepson, Walter Parks of Morrilton, AR; seven brothers Charles (Dorthey) Davis, Jr., Audrey (Jean) Davis, Douglas (Ora) Davis and Abel (Theresa) Davis, all of Kansas City, MO; Cleophus Davis of St. Charles, MO; Jerry and Terry Coleman, both of Menifee, AR; three sisters, Hygia Patrick of Lewisville, TX; Georgia (Willie) Jones of Malvern, AR and Marian (George) Livingston of Forney, TX; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1274 Hwy 95, Morrilton, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Hickory Hill Cemetery.
