Obituary for Virgil Mason
Virgil Fay Mason, 83, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born September 13, 1926 in South New Hope.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Nora Mason; wife, Floy Jean Mason; and three children, Allen, Jacky and Dennis Mason; and one sister, Jewell Mason Carter.
He is survived by a daughter, Diana Mason; and a daughter-in-law, Lizz George Mason, both of Dover; a brother Billy Floyd and Kay Mason of Hector; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; neices and nephews.
He was a grauate of Arkansas Tech University and retired from Bell Helicopter Textron and was an Air Force Veteran.
Memorial services to be announced at a later date.
