Obituary for Velma Morris
Mrs. Velma (Peggy) Mitchell Morris, 88, Conway, Ar departed this life on October 31, 2016. She was born to the late Bryant Fuller and Velma Rucker on June 28, 1928 in Hot Springs, AR.
She was a lifelong resident of Pine Bluff, Ar where she taught in the public schools. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church of Pine Bluff and a graduate of UAPB (formerly AM&N College).
She currently was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Conway, AR.
She is survived by her three daughters, Ann Mattison of Conway, AR; Lorraine Allen of Little Rock, AR and Cherron Boston of New Braunfels, TX; two sons Robert Mitchell of San Antonio, TX and Bryant Mitchell of San Diego, CA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 7403 Princeton Pike, in Pine Bluff, AR.
