Obituary for Veatrice Gunnells Henson
Mrs. Veatrice Gunnells Henson, 93, of Overcup, died Friday January 14, 2011 at the Heritage Living Center in Conway, Ar. The daughter of Salus and Julie Gunnells, she was born July 30, 1917 in Solgohacia, Ar. She was the widow of Berry Henson.
She was a homemaker, an exceptional friend and a faithful member of Spring Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Harris of Morrilton, AR. Two adopted daughters, Loretta Moore and Carolyn Ann Kilpatrick, both of Morrilton, Ar. Two adopted sons, Christopher Henson of Little Rock and Audrey Henson of Fort Smith, AR. One sister, Susie Criswell of Morrilton, Ar. 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Morrilton, AR. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G.
