Obituary for Thomas Larell Stanley, Sr.
Mr. Thomas Larell "Rell Head" Stanley, Sr., 71, of Conway, AR departed this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born December 27, 1950 in Conway, AR to the late Nathaniel and Rozie (Howard) Stanley.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers James Stanley, Clee Stanley, Joe Stanley and sister Iva Dean Steward.
Brother Stanley was educated at Pine Street Schools in Conway until desegregation forced his senior class to Conway High School where he graduated in 1968.
He confessed Christ at any early age. His work career included 22 years at Virco Manufacturing Company, various domestic jobs and then at the Faulkner County Library until his health began to fail.
Bro. Stanley loved his community and friends. He was a charter member of the Night Riders Motorcycle Club. He was also an Arkansas State Golden Gloves Champion. All waterways were an adventure, as he was an avid fisherman.
Bro. Thomas leaves to carry on the "Stanley Strong" legacy to his children Thomas Larell (Maria) Stanley, Jr., Jeffrey Tarrell Stanley, Temper Rena Williams, Kelli Chantrell Williams, Sharain Monique Williams and Nicholas Ceante' Hardiman; sisters Maureace Taylor, Marvel "Lois" French and Debra Harvey; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Sinai Cemetery (Caney Community) in Conway, AR. Visitation will be held 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment Sinai Cemetery.
