Obituary for Theardis Stubbs
Mr. Theardis Stubbs, 66, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Friday, November 8, 2019. He was born November 17, 1952 in Mayflower, Ar to the late Ulis and Annie Lee (McCuien) Stubbs.
He joined Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early. He later united with Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of James E. Hayes, Sr.
He worked construction for many years and later was employed by Conway Street Department where he retired after 20 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Terrance Antwoin Stubbs.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Stubbs; two sons Demetrius (Krystal) Stubbs of Conway, Ar and Kelcey Blake Stubbs of Mayflower, Ar; three daughters Khalilah Stubbs and LaKera Davis, both of North Little Rock, Ar and LaKeshia Bynum of Conway, Ar; two brothers Robert (Delene) Stubbs and Ulis Stubbs of Mayflower, AR; five sisters Vivian McCuien, Vera Stubbs, Tressie (David) Simpson, Janice (Michael) Hunter, all of Mayflower, AR and Ardelima (Gus) Macon of Conway, Ar; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365, Mayflower, Ar. Visitation 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.
