Obituary for Sylvester Hodges
Mr. Sylvester Hodges, 60, of Little Rock, AR departed this life on Friday, April 29, 2016. He was born to the late Viola (Hollis) and Lloyd Hodges, Sr. on December 8, 1955 in Little Rock, AR.Â
Sylvester attended school in the Little Rock School District. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served until he was honorably discharged due to a service related injury. After living several years in Florida and Virginia, he moved back home to Arkansas.
He is survived by one daughter, Iris Hodges of Inglewood, CA; three brothers, Forrest (Willie) Hodges of Little Rock, AR; Willie Lee (Ingrid) Hodges of El Paso, TX; Lloyd (Lela) Hodges of Conway, AR Â and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR.Â
