Mrs. Susie Carrine McKinley Smiley, 98, formerly of Conway, departed this life on June 20, 2007 in Detroit, Michigan. Born March 7, 1909 in Conway, daughter of the late George and Sallie McKinley, she was a homemaker and widower to the late William Smiley, Jr.Susie accepted Christ at an early age at Salem Baptist Church . She later moved her membership to the Union Second Baptist Church in River Rouge, Michigan.Mrs. Smiley's only child was the late Lee Andrew Brown of Conway, Arkasas. Susie Smiley was united in holy matrimony to William Smiley, Jr. They shared many happy years together.  She is survived by seven grandchildren; Lee Ester Miller, Denver, CO; Ladell Brown, Conway, AR; Joyce Credit, Conway, AR; Connie Williams, Menifee, AR; Sandra Thomas, Dwight Brown, and Gary Brown, all of Conway, AR. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, July 2, at Lighthouse Christian Church in Conway, AR, Interment Salem Cemetery. Arrangements Larry G.
