Obituary for Sterling Dickson
Elder Sterling Dickson was born to Lucille & Harvey Lee in Morriston, Missouri. He was one of two children. He leaves his sister Azalee Maxwell to grieve him. Sterling was saved several years ago. He was an Elder at South Temple Church Of God In Christ. He was employed at Porky Davis Tire Service and Union Carbide until he retired. He was married to Bobbie Jean Matthews for 50 years.
To this covenant 4 sons were born; Sterling Dickson (Red) (Tina), Matthew D. Dickson, David Dickson, and Sterling Dickson, Jr. Seven daughters were born; Cortha Dickson, Ardene Dickson, Barbara Alstork, Brenda Warren, Sterling Gene Dickson, Sandra Tims and Diane Lowe (Carnell). He has 24 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. Preceeding him in death was a son Robert Lee Dickson.
Funeral services 11am Saturday South Temple COGIC 2623 South Arch Street, Little Rock. Visitation Friday 6-7pm Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock 565-1800. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
