Obituary for Shanda Lynn Sewell-Walker
Mrs. Shanda Lynn Sewell Walker, 42, of Conway, AR departed this life June 3, 2014. She was born on May 30, 1972 in Conway, Ar to Jasper and Joyce (Pace) Sewell. She was the fourth of five children born to this union. She is preceded in death by her father, Jasper Sewell, who passed away on October 3, 2012.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the Marche community.
Shanda attended Conway Public Schools and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was a substitute teacher in the North Little Rock School District.
She was united in holy matrimony to James Walker.
Shanda loved children and they loved her. She was dearly loved by her nieces Kadra, Chavon and Courtney; nephews Darren, Byron and Ethan; great niece Syriah; and great nephews Joshua and Malaki.Â
She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, one son, Jeffrey Pace Wilson of Conway, AR; her husband, James Walker of Mayflower, AR; her devoted mother, Joyce Sewell of Conway, AR; one sister, Pamela (Bobby) Acklin of North Little Rock, AR; three brothers, Derrick (Angela) Sewell, Torre Sewell, and Ashley (Sherry) Sewell, all of Conway, AR; nieces, nephews and a host of supportive relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at  True Holiness Saints Center, 198 East Hwy 286, Conway, AR. Visitation 4-7 pm Friday, June 6, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, AR.Â
