Sarah A.Dunbar Mitchell of Morrilton, departed this life August 11, 2008. She was born February 20, 1923 to the late James Thomas Dunbar and Melcina Hardy in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Henry Mitchell on July 24, 1945 who preceded her in death. To this union 6 children were born. She accepted Christ and joined the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Center Ridge, Arkansas and later joined the Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Atkins, Arkansas.
She leaves to cherish her memory 4 sons, Henry L. Mitchell (Alice) of Morrilton, Arkansas; Larry L. Mitchell of Marianna, Arkansas; William R. Mitchell of Conway, Arkansas; and Kerry L. Mitchell (Sherrie)Fayetteville, Arkansas; 2 Daughters, Magdalene Cunningham (Lonnie) of Conway; Saundra Joyce Duggar (Raymond) of Morrilton; 2 Brothers, Thomas Dunbar, Conway; Paul Dunbar, Omaha, NE; Two Sisters, Mary Brockman, Morrilton, Ar; Rose Smith, Conway, Arkansas; 9 Grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren, 3 Great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funral services will be 1pm Saturday at the Allen Chapel Methodist Church in Atkins. Interment Allen Chapel Cemetery. Visitation 2-6pm Friday Larry G.
