Obituary for Sammy Perkins
Sammy Perkins, 49, Maumelle departed this life Monday August 7, 2007 at his residence. He was born to the late Willie Perkins, Sr. and Alice Perkins in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Trinity Grove Baptist Church and worked in construction.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mae Helen Perkins.  Survivors - Two Daughters - LaVonda Perkins and Sammy LaVern Perkins both of North Little Rock; Four Brothers - Willie Perkins, Jr., Roy Lee Perkins, John Wesley Perkins, Dennis Perkins all of Maumelle; Five Sisters - Christene Grant of Mayflower; Catherine McCuien, North Little Rock; Ruth Collins, Mary Moore both of Maumelle; Jeraldene Joyner North Little Rock; 5 Grandchildren.Funeral services 11am Wednesday August 8, 2007 at Larry G. Acklin Chapel.  Interment Perkins Cemetery. Arrangements Larry G.
