Obituary for Robert Ulyess Peevy
Mr. Robert Ulyess Peevy, Jr., 60, of Russellville, AR departed this life August 23, 2011. He was born July 7, 1951 in Little Rock, AR to Wanda Lee Wilson Peevy and the late Robert Ulyess Peevy, Sr. He was retired from the Navy and was employed by US Corp of Engineers. He is preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Wooten.
He is survived by three sons, Todd Thompson of Waco, TX, Thomas Peevy of Paris, AR, and Isaac Peevy of Morrilton, AR; one stepson, Eric Zanders of Seattle, WA; two daughters, Kristy Mitchell of Russellville, AR and Terry Peevy of Newport, AR; two step daughters, Melinda Johnson of Little Rock, AR and Princess Johnson of Conway, AR; his mother, Wanda Peevy; two brothers, Richard Peevy and Raymond Peevy, both of Russellville, AR; three sisters, Dorothy White, Mary Johnson, and Betty Watkins, all of Russellville, AR.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at New Prospect Baptist Church, 321 S. Houston Pl, Russellville, AR Visitation 6-7 p.m. Friday at the church. Interment Reed Cemetery, Russellville. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Morrilton. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...WE CARE."
