Obituary for Phillip Bynum
Mr. Phillip Bynum, Sr., 77, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He was born December 27, 1939 to the late Cecil Bynum and Feleter Mae Carter.
He was a member of the Warren Hill Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Earlie E. Mack. Phillip served on the Usher Board until his health failed him. Phillip was a professional construction worker for many years until he retired in 1989.
He is preceded in death by son, Nigel L. Bynum.
He leaves to cherish his member and continue his legacy his wife of 57 years Nancy Lee Mosley –Bynum of Mayflower, AR; Two daughters Shirley B. Mitchell and Mary T. Bynum, both of Conway, AR; Three Sons, Phillip (Olie) Bynum Jr. of Conway, AR., Ronald Bynum and Timothy Bynum, both of Mayflower AR. Six sisters: Bobbie Sewell of Conway, AR; Helen Criswell and Jeanette (Will) Irby, both of Mayflower, AR; Tina (Donnie) Ikpa of Lawrenceville GA; Barbara Travis and Loretta Travis, both of St. Louis MO; Twelve brothers: Rev. Clarence (Earnestine) Bynum, Johnny (Nenita) Bynum, and Harry (Evette) Bynum, all of Mayflower AR; Milton (Marilyn) Bynum, Alfred (Carolyn) Hoskins, Tony Bynum, Malvin Bynum, Calvin
(Latonya) Bynum, all of Conway AR; Cecil (Laceyrean) Bynum of Kansas City MO; Larry Bynum of Pittsburg, VA.; Jackie Travis and Tony Travis, both of St. Louis MO; Twelve Grandchildren. Phillip will be remembered in love by sisters and brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Warren Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 6304 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation 10:00 am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 prior to services. Interment Caney Cemetery in Conway, AR.
