Obituary for Pearline Davis
Mrs. Pearline Davis, 79, of Conway, departed this life Tuesday, December 27, 2011. She was born to the late Erma Lee Robinson and Charles Frances Moore on July 26, 1932 in Plumerville, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Artis Davis, Sr., two sons, Claude Davis and Michael Wayne Davis, and a sister, Dorothy Moore.
She was a local bail bondsman, a member of the Pink Rose Art and Civic club and a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She also retired from Kimberly Clark after several years of service.
She is survived by her daughters, Ellean (Kimmie) Cleveland of Conway, Ar., Virginia Ann (Leon) Henderson of Conway, Ar; sons, Artis (Debra) (Marsha) Davis, Jr. of Little Rock, Ar and Curtis Lee Davis of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Debra Hayes of Oklahoma City, OK and a brother, Maurice Moore of Cleveland, OH; 21 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway, AR. Interment Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Friday, December 30, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church, 4949 Prince Street, Conway, AR. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G.
