Obituary for Pearlee Harper
Mrs. Pearlee (Berry) Harper, 81, of Conway, Ar departed this life on September 29, 2018 after a long battle with medical issues. Born September 4, 1937 in Conway, Ar, she one of ten children born to the late Joseph Berry, Sr. and Marylee (Ryan) Berry.
Mrs. Pearlee Harper was a homemaker and the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. She not only cherished the time spent with her family, Mrs. Harper also enjoyed reading the bible, cooking, and solving crossword puzzles. She was married to the love of her life, the late Eldee Harper, Sr., Mrs. Harper confessed her hope in Christ at a young age and was a member of Greater Fellowship until her health failed.
Mrs. Pearlee Harper was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, William Bayles Harper; a grandson, Antoine Harper; five siblings: Eldridge Berry, Elbert Berry, Jim Berry, Murphy Berry, and Ruthie Mae Berry.
She leaves to cherish her memories, eleven children: Eldee (Pam) Harper, Jr. of Yuma, AZ; Sylvia (Lee) Harden of Cincinnati, OH; KaSondra (Syvoil) Jones; Lonnie Harper, Mary Jo Harper, Michael Harper and Jeremiah Harper all of Conway, AR.; Jewell (Cassandra) Harper of Mayflower, AR.; Lloyd Harper and Elijah Harper both of Maumelle, AR.; and Icyce Harper of Morrilton, AR. Mrs. Harper is also survived by two brothers: Richard Berry of Little Rock, AR.; Joseph Berry, Sr. of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters: Louise Berry and Beatrice Berry both of Chicago, IL., 21 grand-children, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Greater Fellowship Christian Church, 1 Wildwood Drive, Conway, Ar. Visitation 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, October 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery in Marche, AR.
