Obituary for Paul Osburn
Mr. Paul Osburn, 86, of Conway, Ar departed this life on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Paul was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 15, 1933.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1962. Paul retired from his work as a programmer in the oil industry. He had many interests, including chaperoning senior scout trips and volunteering for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the Garland County Library, and Garvin Gardens. In 1995, his team won the USTA League Tennis National Senior 3.0 Championship.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Osburn of Conway, AR; his daughter, Fran (Tom) Geoca of Spring, TX; his stepchildren Carol (Johnny) Gardner of Spring, TX; Michael (Dawn) Robinson of Spring, TX; and Diane (Wayne Oudekerk) Robinson of Conway, AR; his grandchildren Anthony (Brittney) Hightower of Midlothian, VA; Zachary Hightower of Houston; Alex (Cara) Geoca of Houston; Emily Geoca of London, England; Paul Geoca of Baytown; Zachary Robinson of Houston; Sam Geoca of Spring; Tommy Gardner of Spring; and Gail Oudekerk of Conway; and a sister, Myra Rogers of Tulsa.

He is predeceased by his son, Paul Edward Osburn III; his father, Paul Edward Osburn, Sr.; his mother, Eunice Iverson Osburn; his brother, Bill Osburn; and his sister, Phyllis Connor.

Paul’s only request was that he be interred with his dog, Duchess.

A service will be held at College Square in Conway at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 19 and at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring, TX on September 1.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the College Square Benevolent Fund.

The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving care of College Square Retirement Center and Kindred Hospice Care.
