Obituary for Natalie Williams
Natalie Carol Williams departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2008 .  Natalie was the eldest child of Booker and Mary Williams, born November 19, 1960.  She grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and attended Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church as a child where she was baptized by Reverend Robert Willingham.   Natalie attended High School in Dumas, Arkansas and was a graduate of the class of 1980.   She then went on to attend school at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where she was a member of the Vesper Choir.    Natalie worked for many years in the nursing field.  She worked for the State of Arkansas, Department of Veteran’s Administration as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for the last 10 years.
She was a faithful member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was a member of the Pastor’s Aide, Inspirational Chior, and the Nurse’s Guild.  She was a loving daughter, sister,  aunt and friend to many.  Those who knew her loved her.
Natalie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary L. Savage-Williams.  Her survivors include her father and step-mother, Booker and Marvette Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; five sisters,  Jackie Nance (Wardell) of St. Louis, MO, Vallory Williams (James) of Lakewood, WA;  Melanie Jacobs (Earl) of Little Rock,  Pamela Norman of Little Rock and  Brittany Williams of Pine Bluff; one brother,  Booker T. Williams,  Jr. of Savannah GA, a grandfather, Dr. Raymond Savage, Sr. of Little Rock, five nephews,  and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday 11am at the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church 1700 South State Street, Little Rock.  Burial Haven of Rest, 12th Street, Little Rock. Visitation Thursday 6-7pm at the church.  Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock.  "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
