Obituary for Myron Don Brooks
Myron Don Brooks was born July 31, 1957 in Morrilton, Arkansas. Â The son of Barbara Neil Newsom Brooks and William Michael Brooks, who both preceded him in death.
As a young child, Myron was first baptized at Union Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. Myron graduated from Morrilton High School in 1975. Â He also attended Petit Jean Vocational School and received his certificate for Brick Masonry.

Myron leaves to cherish his memories: Â Five sons, Myron Jermell, Chicago, IL., William Michael JaRae, Conway, AR; Myron LaCharles of Kansas City, MO., Byron Jarell and Mickey Rashad of Conway, Ar., Two daughters Alfreda Janell Allen (DeAndre) and Barbara Janell Breanna, Conway, Ar., Two brothers, Randy Brooks (Marilyn) and Paul A. Brooks, Kansas City, MO.; Four sisters; Barbara Strickland, Little Rock, AR. Adrian Y. Gibbs, Kansas City, MO.; Robin Bobbitt, Dallas, TX., Harriet M. Yocum (Michael) Sioux Falls, SD., One uncle, Ben L. Newsome, Rockford, IL., Two aunts; Dorothy Newsome, Rockford, IL. and Jennifer Newsome, Frederickburg, VA., Four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11am Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. Â Graveside services were held at 11am Monday December 22, 2014 at Owens Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas. Â
