Obituary for Moses Credit
Brother Moses Credit, 93 of Mayflower, Arkansas departed this life August 29, 2008.  He was born in Oak Hill, Arkansas (Pulaski County) to the late Troy and Renard Acklin - Credit.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church and a faithful deacon. He later moved his membership to Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until the Lord called him home.
He was an employee of Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. Preceding him in death: his wife, Minnie Lee Credit; one daughter, Bobbie Jean Garth; two sons, Clyde Boyd and Thomas Credit; Brothers, Hubert Credit, Samuel Credit, Levi Credit, Monroe Credit, Joseph Credit, and Huie Credit.
Those left to cherish his memories: One daughter, Joyce (Leroy) Smith of Kansas City, KS; Five Sons, Charles (Essie) Credit, Andrew (Verlean) Credit, Joseph (Geneva) Credit, Leroy Credit, and Wayne Credit of Mayflower, Arkansas; Four Sisters, Etoy Stubbs, Mayflower; Dorotha Senior and Thelma Reed of Little Rock; Mary Hardy of New York; 32 Grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday September 6, 2008 at Palarm Chapel Baptist Church.  Family Visitation will be 5:30 - 7pm Friday at the church. Interment Palarm Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
