Obituary for Morgan E Payne
Ms. Morgan E. Payne, 26, of Conway, AR departed this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was born on September 29, 1994 in Morrilton, AR to David and Rosemary Payne.
Morgan professed her faith at an early age under the leadership of Randy S. Maxwell at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, AR.
She graduated from Conway Senior High School in 2013. During her middle school and high school years she played the clarinet in Conway’s band. After graduating from high school, Morgan attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for a year and then transferred to the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, where she earned her Associates degree. Afterwards, Morgan worked for Z&D Medical in Mayflower, AR in 2017 up until November 2020. During her time at Z&D Medical, she earned her CDL.
Morgan is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Johnny and Jaretha Canady and her paternal grandparents, Charles Payne and Teresa Scott; one brother-in-law, Andrew Cowan; one aunt (her namesake), Marilyn Evette Canady and four uncles, Perry, Allen, Harold and Hildren Canady.
Morgan leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter Malaysia R. Payne (Hattieville, AR); parents David and Rosemary Payne (Hattieville, AR); one brother Marcus (Jami) Canady of Enola, AR; two sisters Meghan Cowan (Conway, AR) and Micahela Payne (Conway, AR); three nieces Meah Webb, Kate Canady, and Trinity Cooper; two nephews Jackson Canady and Tyler Cowan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 2, 2021, outdoors on the campus of Philadelphia Baptist Church, 3849 Hwy 64, Menifee, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, January 1, 2021 at funeral home. Interment New Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cleveland, AR.
