Mary Eugenia Sims, was born to the late Eugene Smith and Mary Ellen Smith on November 14, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She professed a hope in Christ and was accepted as a member of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years until her death.She departed this life on May 4, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory her faithful husband, Richard Monroe Sims of Little Rock, Arkansas; One daughter, Jibril Ellen Sims, Little Rock, Arkansas; One Grandson Christopher Richard Williams, Little Rock, Arkansas; 4 Step-Daughters- Resonia Ledbetter (Ricky) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Lottie Sims, Little Rock, Arkansas; Rosnia Sims and Reshannon Sims both of California; Two Sisters - Marion Upkins of Memphis, TN; Ethel Coleman of Little Rock, Arkansas; Two Brothers, Elton Smith, Little Rock, Arkansas; Rector Reed of Cincinatti, OH.  Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday May 10, 2006 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, Little Rock. Interment Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday May 9, 2006 from 6-7pm Larry G.
