Obituary for Mary E Haynes
Mrs. Mary E. Haynes, 81, of North Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life February 11, 2015. Â She was born to the late Edgar Gates, sr. and Catherine (Cunningham) Gates. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Haynes, Sr.; three sisters, Indiana Gates, Ora Lee Conway and Thennie Mae Doss; two brothers, Edgar Gates, Jr. and Benny Frank Gates.
She graduated from Vine Street High School and later moved to Chicago, IL.
She is survived by her five daughters, Melody Fields of Conway, AR; Catherine Collins and Emma (Melvin), both of North Little Rock, AR; Regina (Richard) of Maumelle, AR and Shelia (Billy) Corbin of Virginia Beach, VA; five sons, Royce (Kathy) and Gregory, both Little Rock, AR, Reginald of Conway, AR, Lenose (Sharon) and Samuel, both of Maumelle, AR.; one brother, Tommy (Buddy) Gates of Memphis, TN; 33 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at House of Refuge and Deliverance (HORAD), 748 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 6-7 pm, Friday, February 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery.Â
