Obituary for Mary Credit Hardy
Mrs. Mary Credit Hardy, 100, of Bronx, NY, departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born in Mayflower, Ar on September 15, 1917 to the late Troy and Renard Credit.
Mary moved to New York at an early age where she met and married Walter Hardy, Sr. and had two children, Walter and Benita Hardy. She joined the First Church of God in Christ and was a faithful Christian until her passing.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Benita (Jeffrey) Fletcher of Bronx, NY; grandchildren Marvon Hardy, Nicole Fletcher, Tishana Hardy, Athanesha “Thea” Blake and Jenny Hardy; great grandson Ace Berkeley; sister Etoy Stubbs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery in Marche, AR.
