Obituary for Marion D. Pace

Mr. Marion Daniel Pace was born to the late Mr. Harry and Lula Croston-Pace on February 16, 1947.


Affectionately known as "M.D.", he loved to hunt and fish. He worked in the construction field for many years until retirement from E.T. Pace Construction, a family-owned concrete company.


He is preceded in death by his mother and father; six sisters Lucinda Pace, Sarah Pace, Dorthulia Pace-Zinamon, Ethel Pace-Johnson, Cleo Pace-Johnson and Earcy Pace; three brothers James Pace, Ben Henry Pace and Tyrese Pace; two grandchildren Brock Veasley and Bri Janae Veasley.


He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Tony (Michelle) Pace-Veasley of Denver, CO; sister Bertha (Willie) Perkins of NLR, AR; brother Joseph (Annette) Pace of Sherwood, AR; a granddaughter, Carolyn Veasley of Denver, CO; six grandsons Napoleon Veasley, Brandon Veasley, Sebastian Kelly, Christopher Veasley, Thaddeus Veasley and Simeon Veasley, all of Denver, CO; fourteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; his caregivers Houston and Carolyn McCray and a special friend Joann Hines-Pace.


Visitation will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road in NLR, AR.


Celebration of Life services will follow at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the church.


Interment Perkins Park Memorial Cemetery in NLR, AR.
