Obituary for Marilyn Scott
Mrs. Marilyn Renee Scott was born October 6, 1970 in Little Rock, AR to the late Tommy “Bilbo” and Erma Lee (Hale) Phillips.
Marilyn became a believer at an early age at Greater Christ Temple Pentecostal Church and later became a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.
Marilyn departed this life early Sunday morning on August 29, 2021, joining her beloved parents and her brother, Curtis Lee Billups, in heaven.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Thomas Scott, Sr. and their son Thomas, Jr. She also leaves to cherish her memory six brothers Tommy Lee (Geneva) Phillips, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA’ Charles Billups of Des Moines, IA; Carl Phillips of Columbus, OH; Alden D. (Sharon) Phillips of Little Rock, AR; Alvon W. “Dallas” Phillips of Perryville, AR; Dr. Elder Michael R. Phillips of Tulsa, OK; two sisters Jacqueline G. (Christopher) Baldwin and Tammie T. Alexander, both of Little Rock, AR and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021. Visitation 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, September 3, 2021. Both services held at the funeral home. Interment Rest in Peace Memorial Gardens in Hensley, AR. Face masks are required.
